We helpnonprofitstoo.
The same operational and commercial problems we solve for mid-market companies and PE-backed businesses show up inside nonprofits. They just don’t have the budget to fix them, and nobody’s going to tell them what’s costing them money.
The problems are the same. The budget isn’t.
A vendor contract that hasn’t been renegotiated in five years costs a nonprofit the same way it costs a corporation, it just costs more relative to what the organization actually has. A donor acquisition program with no measurement behind it is a marketing procurement problem wearing a fundraising label. A board that gets a reporting deck nobody can act on is an operating model problem, not a communications problem.
We do this work for mid-market companies and private equity firms every day. A limited number of nonprofit and community organizations get the same work, pro bono or at a fee that reflects what they can actually pay, decided case by case.
The same eight practices, aimed at what nonprofits actually run into.
Fundraising & Marketing Effectiveness
Donor acquisition is customer acquisition. Agency and media relationships get the same commercial scrutiny we’d apply to a paid client, so more of every campaign dollar reaches the mission.
Vendor & Procurement Cost Discipline
Software, insurance, facilities, and services contracts that renew on autopilot. We find what’s overpriced and renegotiate it, the same way we do for a $200M company.
AI Enablement for Lean Teams
Nonprofit teams run lean by necessity. We find where AI actually removes work, not where it’s trendy to add it, so a small team can cover more ground.
Operations & Board Reporting
Reporting that a board can actually use to make a decision, and an operating model that doesn’t depend on one overextended person holding it all together.
How it works
We take on a limited number of nonprofit engagements at a time, so the ones we do take on get the same attention as a paid client, not a lighter version of the work.
Every engagement is scoped individually. Some are pro bono. Some are a reduced fee that reflects the organization’s budget. We decide based on the scope of the work and whether it’s something we genuinely want to be part of, not a fixed formula. The way to find out is to tell us what you’re working on.
Who we’ve done this for
We’ve worked with children’s and family-focused nonprofits, healthcare and community health organizations, and social service agencies, among others. This isn’t a one-off for us, it’s work we come back to and genuinely enjoy. Whatever your organization is dealing with, there’s a good chance we’ve seen a version of it before and know how to help.
Tell us what you’re working on.
No application, no form to fill out first. A short conversation is enough for us to tell you honestly what we can do.
